The
Potstal The ‘Potstal’ is
a six persons’ wheelchair-friendly vacation home in the northern
part of the province of Limburg (in the south of the Netherlands).
The vacation home is part of an authentic ‘langgevel’ farm
(a typical Limburger style farm with a long façade) from 1880.
In
the early days, the farm used to be a stallion farm for Belgian draught
horses. This is where the name ‘Potstal’ (which means a
stable where manure was being hoarded up all winter long until the
spring) comes from. The original building has only been renovated from
the inside to preserve the rustic atmosphere of the old days.
The farm
is the home of the Van de Logt family, also the owner of the vacation
home.
